Nicola Taylor Childminding
My goal whilst running Nicola Taylor Childminding, is to grow happy, intelligent, confident children. I aim to provide a nurturing, educational environment, designed to convince children of their individual worth in the world. Each day I seek to engage children, delight them, and recognise their emerging talents through play, music, sport and discovery. I aim to provide the highest standards of childcare and preschool education available to your children.
I believe that a child learns from the second they awake, until the moment they fall asleep, and as such I aim to provide stimulation for this natural process by investing heavily in expanding a child's experiences, by offering day trips, music, arts & crafts, baking and help with homework. I aim to take every opportunity to educate children and develop their understanding and individual interests.
It is my goal to encourage a child’s understanding and appreciation of the world around them -home, the outside world, people and places and I aim to do this with regular group contact with other children here in the Childminding setting, through play-dates, classes and organised outings with other Childminders, I would like to help build your child's ability to engage with others, encourage social confidence and help them to develop excellent communication skills.
I aim to promote healthy living from the earliest age encouraging children to participate in sport, going for walks and teaching them about healthy eating.
I believe in providing an environment for children whereby they feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. I believe that by offering a ‘home-from-home.’ experience children will feel valued, and be able to exercise their mind, their body and their personality, in ways and at a rate they are comfortable with. Within this safe and secure environment, your child can indulge their imagination, hone their fine motor skills , and express themselves through art projects and music.
