The Pink Jersey
The Pink Jersey was officially founded in 2013 yet has been an embryonic idea for a little longer. In 2011, Richard Paige had an idea, an idea which became a reality in 2012. The Green Jersey opened its doors to the cycling community in The Ribble Valley providing great service, great bikes and a great atmosphere. The Green Jersey soul grew as bike enthusiasts dropped by to share experiences over a brew and a homemade cake. Many of these enthusiasts were (and still are!) women who revel in the wild sense of freedom and rush of adrenalin that physical challenge brings. As we made friends with our female customers it became clear they were disheartened and disappointed in our range of cycle clothing – it was boring, dull and unimaginative. Richard’s wife, Sarah, shared this opinion and dug a bit deeper. Boring, dull and unimaginative clothing is not just limited to cycling but to wider sport in general. She wanted to find sports clothing which gives women -
- Colour choice
- Plain or Pretty
- Real sizing for Real Women
- Attractive designs
- Practical fabrics
- Stuff for the gym, running, cycling and general fitness
- The chance to look like a woman and not look like a man

- Clothing to look and feel good in
- Pride in doing what they’re doing
