My Style I bring an artisan vision to my wedding photography combining a modern photojournalistic style with traditional fine art concepts. I capture the day as it unfolds with little or no intrusion. If I'm doing my job well you and your guests will hardly know I am there. People are more likely to act naturally when they are unaware that they are being photographed. I photograph with film staying true to the traditional aspects of the medium. This provides timeless classic images with far greater depth and quality that set them apart from that of digital. I use beautiful hand made wedding albums of the very highest quality by class leaders Jorgenson. These exude a simple air of luxury and are perfect for couples who want timeless classic styling. Arts Out West works with volunteer promoters to bring top quality performing arts to village halls, schools and community groups in West Cumbria. This area is a beautiful part of the country with it's coast and mountains, but also has areas of high unemployment following the collapse of traditional industries, and isolated rural communities with poor services. Our promoters give local people the opportunity to see live professional theatre, dance, music and children's shows at an affordable price. For many it is the only chance they have to experience this, but it also much more. There's usually refreshments laid on, a raffle to promote hall funds, an opportunity to meet up with neighbours and catch up on the crack. It's also a much more intimate experience between performer and audience in venues that bring their own challenges. The most usual comment we receive is "I never thought it would be as good as this!" We work in partnership with Highlights Rural Touring and Kirkgate Arts and are part of the National Rural Touring Forum. We are funded by the Arts Council, Cumbria County Council and Copeland and Allerdale District Councils.
