Upstairs, the master bedroom has two single beds, a fitted wardrobe, and a dressing table area. The decoration is on classic lines and the original cast iron fireplace is still a feature of the room. The side bedroom has a single bed and the room is decorated in fresh colours with contrasting furnishings. The double bedroom at the rear of the property has a low ceiling and an interesting window. Its floral decoration echoes a cottage garden. The warm and welcoming bathroom is well appointed and has a shower over the bath.
Visitors also have access to the small, well maintained patio at the rear of the property. There is also off-street parking available for one car on the cobbled area at the front of the house (please note that due to this being a conservation area the cobbles may not be suitable for all vehicles).
Shops, public transport, restaurants and the town’s tourist attractions are all within a short walking distance. This centrally heated property is an ideal base for exploring the northern lakes in either an active or leisurely manner. The west coast of Cumbria also holds many attractions and is equally accessible.
