We are a medium-sized JDW pub situated in the town centre of Devizes, Wiltshire. Open from 7AM, we served a large range of breakfast items up until midday, alongside our extensive main menu. A broad selection of hot drinks, including lattes, mocha and a selection of specialist teas are available all day. Alcohol is served from 9AM. Draught lagers include Fosters, Stella Artois, Carlsberg, Carling, Kronenbourg 1664, Tuborg, Heineken and Amstel. A range of bottled lagers are also available, all the usual fayre alongside some tasty alternatives, such as Baltika, of which the selling slogan should be 'In Mother Russia, the beer drinks you!' We serve a decent mix of real ales, including the ever popular Greene King Abbot, and its lighter little brother, Ruddles, both of which are available all year round. We also have an ever-changing choice of guest ales, each available at the ridiculously bargainous price of £1.99. You want ciders, we've got ciders. As well as classic favourites Strongbow and Thatcher's Gold, we stock around 842 varieties of Kopparberg, and a mutitude of traditional ciders from Herefordshire apple-squashers Weston's. And Cidre, not cider. Cocktails, we've got plenty. Alcopops, them too, and almost every vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon and shooter you could care to think of. J20's for the drivers, and Monster's for the insomniacs. Steak Club is every Tuesday, plenty of steak varieties to choose from including sirloin, rib-eye and the Man vs. Food-esque Aberdeen Angus, a real behemoth. Included is a selected drink, and a reduced price for a desert, should you like to sample our sweet tooth delights. Curry Club is held every Thursday, over 10 varities of curries are available, served with basmati rice, poppadums, naan bread and mango chutney, and a selected drink. It's very popular, so get here early to secure a seat! Sunday Club offers a choice of beef, pork, chicken or veggie alternative dinner, each piled high with all the trimmings you'd expect from this British favourite. Go large for just a few pence more to add to this mountain of Sunday goodness!

A brand new preschool NOW OPEN in Devizes

Our small community run pre-school is set in the beautiful village of All Cannings, near Devizes, Wiltshire and offers a high standard of pre-school education for children aged 2-5 years. We're a well resourced school with a high adult to child ratio where we provide a secure and stimulating environment in which each child is valued and makes a contribution. Emphasis is placed on personal, social and emotional development through which the play-based curriculum is delivered by our experienced, qualified staff.

The school currently offers a maximum of 22 boarding places up to four nights a week but was originaly equiped for 52 boarding places seven nights a week.
