Alan’s diverse photographic career began in the 1970s as an assistant in a local studio, over the intervening years Alan has worked in most disciplines of the photographic industry, including advertising, fashion, medical, motor sports, underwater, wildlife and food photography.
Alan’s work is regularly published in books and magazines worldwide and is held in high esteem not only in the photographic industry but also the film and television industry.
Alan’s diverse skills have seen him work for some of industries leading names including the BBC, ITV, SKY,The Times and Observer newspapers, Christian Dior, Givenchy, The ford motor company, Miramax Films, Scottish and Newcastle breweries. Lloyds/TSB Bank, The Walton Sextuplets, Harley Davidson Motor Cycles. Today Alan’s busy working life consists of photographing film & television productions, commercial food and general business marketing shoots.
Providing film and television production companies with still images of location and studio filming as well as portrait and action shots of celebrities for use in cinema and dvd advertising.
Alan also spends a large amount of time at his Apple Mac’s not only processing his photographic work but designing web sites for his clients and creating graphic arts images.
