We're an after school club that runs on the grounds of Gillingham Primary School Dorset, Monday to Friday from 3.15 to 6.00 pm We have set this Facebook page up to be able to communicate with the parents of the children that attend the after school club, we would also like it to be used for any feedback or any ideas that parents have that we would be able to use in the club e.g Snack ideas or activity ideas. There will be no pictures of any of the children, it will only be of the things we have done or will be doing in the future. Please feel free to message us on this page as it goes straight to either myself (Lauren Higgs) or Amanda Greenwood (Manager of Bright Sparks Gillingham) This club is only for the children that attend Gillingham Primary School, If you are interested in sending your child to bright sparks please come and see us for a registration form. We also require a £10 Reg fee before they start. Prices Prices are done on an hourly rate. 3.15 - 4.15 pm £3.50 3.15 - 5.15 pm £7.00 3.15 - 6.00 pm £9.50 Fees Invoices will be given on the 1st of each month for the coming month and will need to be paid in full by the 25th of the month. Safeguarding At Bright Sparks we promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of children. All staff trained and vetted before working with the children. The protection of your child is our first priority. Fire Fire drills are completed every three months. Children and staff are made aware of where evacuation points are on their first day at Bright Sparks, and what the expectations are. Behaviour At Bright Sparks we provide good role models, promoting positive behaviour. Children are provided with a stimulating and develop mentally appropriate learning environment to ensure full attention. We have many golden rules which the children are aware of and involved in updating. Health & Safety We believe the Health and Safety of children is of paramount importance and we make sure that the setting is a safe and healthy place of your child.

The ACO is sponsored by the Royal Air Force and can give you hands-on experience of activities and courses that will challenge and develop your skills to help you succeed in whatever you want to do. At 1039 (Gillingham) Squadron, we are delighted to be able to offer a wide range of activities for all our cadets, including flying and gliding, adventure training, shooting, sports and music. Our cadets are also able to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme and work towards formal qualifications including BTECs.
