Mad cafe guidelines. Mad Café was founded by Clare Marie Knowles in march 2010. It joined Facebook as Kent Mums and Dads Swopshop with originally no rules and just one group. Time has changed that and through experience this is how we find it works best. POLITE NOTICE, The group is for selling off your unwanted items. Add a photo of the actual item for sale (no Internet stock photos) If your item requires more than one picture then please create a collage. Add a description, price and location to your item. Please indicate if the item is being advertised elsewhere (a/e) Please consider every interested party in turn. First to comment, then second etc. Give a buyer up to 6 hours to respond before moving onto the next person. If someone has been tagged in a post on your item by a friend please give them an hour to respond. As the seller you have the right to refuse to sell to a buyer if you have a valid reason. This is a local collection group so please do not offer postage or Paypal can on any Mad Cafe pages. Let your ad run a week before reposting it. Please be post fair and do not bump your items. If they see a post that is posted incorrectly or is not permitted on our walls it will be removed without warning. We run a 3 strike rule. Thamesview is an 11-16 non-selective Foundation High School. It is located in a pleasant area of Gravesend surrounded by open space and farmland with views of the River Thames to the north east, close to London and with easy access to airports, Ebbsfleet International Station and the Channel Tunnel. We were fortunate to be in the last wave of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, which was the biggest single government investment in improving school buildings for over 50 years. Our new-build school, which opened fully in September 2010 is state-of-the art, and designed to motivate and engage our learners.
