Pantasaph Friary is of the Roman Cathoilc faith & is administered by the Franciscan Order. It is located approx 3 miles from Holywell in the county of Flintshire & is one of the hidden gems of North East Wales. Pantasaph is also close to the coast & en route to many of the major holiday destinations in the North Wales area. It is a religious complex consisting of church, retreat centre, pilgrim's hall, tea rooms, gift shop, shrine, garden, calvery/stations of the cross, toilet facilities & on site parking (disabled & coachs included). The friary is run by the 5/6 friars in residence, paid employees & an army of volunteers. Mass is said daily at Pantasaph & St David's Church is open to all throughout the day. Pantasaph is also the location of the National Shrine of St Pio which is situated in a tranquil garden within the friary grounds. Throughout the year Pantasaph hosts a number of prayer days, annual Summer 'Fun Day' & various other events both indoors & outdoors. The retreat Centre caters for group weekends, private retreats, workshops & a variety of different themed guided retreats.
