Holywell & District Reds (Wrexham FC Supporters Group)

Holywell & District Reds (Wrexham FC Supporters Group)

Ael-y-ffynnon, Holywell ,
The fans club was originally formed in July 2000, by John & Paul Evans, brothers from Holywell and originally had over 50 members. During the past decade, the H&D Reds have brought fans from the area together, some who had never met, whilst others had no idea that they had a mutual passion for the Racecourse outfit and have become lifelong friends because of it. Trips to Huddersfield and Bury, Macclesfield and Port Vale, are just a small number of the places that they have travelled to as a supporters group to show their vocal backing for the Red Dragons. They also travelled as a group to Cardiff, a weekend which will forever live in the memory, as Wrexham lifted the 2005 LDV Vans trophy in front of 35,000+ at the Millennium Stadium. In 2004, the Holywell Reds arranged a sponsored walk which saw a number of members make the trek from their hometown to the Racecourse. The group continue sponsor matches and players each and every season. All money raised has been and continues to be for the benefit of Wrexham Football Club, both now and for the future. Monthly meetings are held at the Abbots Arms, Pen-y-maes in Holywell. Please keep an eye on this site for details.
