The Keswick Boot Company is a small local business in the beautifully scenic town of Keswick ran by us, Alex and Kerrie Charlton. We aim to give our customers a choice of well established brands such as Hunter, Aku and The North Face and also relatively less well known brands to the UK such as Vasque, Simple and Helly Hansen footwear, making us just that little bit different. Being a small independent company gives us the freedom to choose only brands and styles we have one hundred percent confidence in, meaning we love what we sell and that shows in our customer service and the technical knowledge we have on our products.

The group has a very friendly atmosphere, it is a great way to get active, learn new skills and most of all have fun! This could not be accomplished of course without the help and support of all members plus leaders and parent helpers. All this makes it appealing to boys and girls of all ages.

We provide fun and exciting breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for children aged 3 - 11, in Keswick in the beautiful Lake District.  We have been running for over 10 years and are Ofsted Registered and can take childcare vouchers. Our staff pride themselves on offering great clubs, with lots to do and where your child is their focus. Our three clubs mean that we can offer you affordable, childcare solutions all year round. Our three clubs are:  - Holiday Club: open every English school holiday (08:30 - 18:00) - After School Club: open Monday to Friday during term-time (15:20 - 18:00) - Breakfast Club: open Monday to Friday during term time (07:45 - 09:00)

Centred on the picturesque town of Keswick, this art society draws members from a wide area in the North and West Lake District and beyond. This is a popular place for artists who enjoy the rugged landscape of the fells and lakes. Keswick Society of Art exists to support and encourage artists of all levels of experience in the study and practice of painting and drawing and other allied subjects. Talks and demonstrations by visiting speakers are arranged during the Autumn and Spring. The venue for these meetings is the Methodist Church Hall in Southey Street where there is adequate parking. Dates and times are published in our programme. Members are also able to take part in day workshops featuring a variety of approaches. During the Summer months friends of the society and members invite us to paint in their gardens. The social aspects of our society are also promoted by our Christmas lunch in November and a coach trip in the Summer. To give members the opportunity to show and sell their works, we usually hold three exhibitions annually, with two at the Congregational Hall in Lakes Road and one at Theatre by the Lake.
