loving, caring family environment. I have two children of my own, Freddie who is 2 ½ and Maisie who is 7 months. We have lived in Knaresborough since July 2011 after moving from Harrogate. We purchased our house for it’s perfect cul-dac-sac location and secure rear garden. We are tucked away in the corner and experience no passing traffic. Freddie loves to feed the horses in the field we overlook. As a family, we enjoy numerous activities such as swimming, going out for family walks, visit petting zoo's, museums, soft play centres, trips to the park and spending time with friends and family etc. We like to spend time with our children encouraging educational activities such as reading, writing, counting and singing nursery rhymes. This is something I will also do with any children that are in my care either on a one to one basis or in a group. I can offer a wide variety of activities. Indoor activities including books, toys, jigsaws, arts & crafts, play-dough, baking, ball pit as well as many more! My outdoor play equipment consists of ride-ons, trampoline, slide, sand and water table, footballs etc. Martin and I have been married almost 5 years. Martin works as a local postman and has done for almost 10 years. Since having my second child, I feel the time is right for a new challenge. I worked in my previous job for 10 years, working as a branch administrator for a loss adjusting company in Harrogate. I have always wanted to work with children since leaving school but never got around to doing it. This is something I do regret not having done. I grew up looking after children and absolutely adore being around them, I wish I had done this sooner! I feel I have so much to offer the childcare industry and get to fit my own family/children in well. I hold a full clean driving licence and have done so for 10 years. I hold appropriate NCMA Public Liability insurance to enable me to go out on trips, eg, indoor play centres, parks etc. I have had a CRB check done, as has Martin. When Martin is home, he is able to provide assistance should this be needed or join us on outings/trips. Her combined training and experience has allowed her to blend an extensive theoretical and practical Plant and Gardening knowledge into a strong Design centred Professional background.
