Ola Grey
Hello, welcome to Ola Grey. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my page and have a little look at my bags.
So this is what I do with myself of an evening, I am a secret bag maker! Everything you see on this page has been made by me.
My name is Ange (not Ola!) and I'm a mum to three beautiful girls.
Not entirely sure how this has come about, but its time to stand up, loud and proud, and admit that I like to sew...and I knit...and I like to sort buttons into matching colour piles and then get mad at my children if they touch them!
I admit I thought this sort of activity would come later in life, but at least I'm saving crochet for old age...
Why Ola Grey? Well Ola has sentimatal meanings to me. St Ola is a place in Orkney where my grandparents lived, where my mother grew up and where I spent my childhood summer holidays. Its the place that I'm saving my pennies to take my own children to, and the insentive to start trying to sell my bags. St ola is already being used so the grey came from the overriding colour I see when I think of Orkney. Grey but in a beautiful way.
