Set in beautiful countryside between Leyland and Croston, Leyland Garden Centre lies on the A581 in the quirkily named village of Ulnes Walton. Originally a market garden selling tomatoes, lettuces and chrysanthemums from a tiny wooden shed by road, it was bought as Auldene Nurseries by ex-policeman Cyril Iddon in 1955 and converted into a garden centre. Over the years it has expanded into the successful and popular centre of today, attracting customers from far and wide for its top quality growing stock and excellent customer service. Following a course in traditional upholstery at Kendal Upholstery, I gained my AMUSF Advanced Craft Skills certificate with mention distinction. Fashions come and go but with my upholstery and soft furnishing skills I hope to create a piece of furniture or a room that will give years of pleasure to it's owner. My mission is to put new life into a much loved chair or sofa and to use my design / sewing skills to create that special room that everyone wants.
