High Five

Welcome to High Five Pure Clean Windows When most people imagine window cleaning, they imagine a man climbing up ladders and squeegeeing off soapy water from a bucket with a rag tucked in their belt. However, window cleaning is moving on to bigger and better things. Modern day window cleaning is done with special water fed pole systems and deionized water to clean windows up to five floors safely from the ground. A soft bristled brush is used to cleanse the dirt off the glass, while jets of very pure water rinse the window. Using a brush means the window frames and surrounds are all cleaned to a high quality as part of the process. The pure water not only cleans the dirt off more efficiently, it also dries to a spot-free finish as it has no impurities. No chemicals or detergents are used, just pure deionized water. The brushes used are hog hair opposed to monofilament nylon. This increases the scrubbing power as the bristles from the brush tend to lie flatter on the glass and get into the corners of sills more effectively. The hog hair brush is further assisted by a goose neck connector to allow easy reach of deep window sills. This is why you should choose High Five in comparison to standard window cleaners; Most window cleaners use tap water. Tap water contains numerous types of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium etc. These are called Total Dissolved Solids or TDS. If you wash a window with ordinary tap water or leave your car out in the rain, the TDS elements don’t evaporate with the water but remain as a residue that causes “spotting”. So basically, “water spots” are caused by the minerals left behind when “dirty” water evaporates; de-ionization removes these minerals so there is nothing left to cause spotting, just pure clean windows. Unlike traditional window cleaning methods, after we have finished cleaning your windows, we will leave your windows and frames wet. By leaving them to dry naturally, it stops the chances of introducing any contaminates, thus leaving them sparkling clean and they stay cleaner for longer!
