West Coast Events was created by Sara Qualter and Kate MacDonald, out of the hugely successful events already held at Bishopton House & Gardens in Lochgilphead, who met through their love of vintage ‘things’, specialising in furniture and textiles. The aim of WCE is to organise yet more, bigger & better, 'Country Living style' events, (some at this beautiful location) and also to provide a bespoke events management service, drawing on the skills & products of many, professional, high quality, predominately Argyll based businesses. Our contact list is second to none! Venues, food & drink providers and suppliers, florists, photographers, art and crafts people, even a theatre company… WCE works closely alongside West Coast Living, which is Sara Qualter with Katie Ritchie, providing gorgeous vintage & country furniture, set dressing & marketing; Kate MacDonald, providing both business management skills and beautiful vintage textiles under 'Calico Kate Originals' and the fantastic skills of Bill Baillie of Bill Baillie Photography in 'capturing moments'.
