John and Conor are Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapists, trading under the name Personal Best Physiotherapy Limited, registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC).
Prior to setting up this company, John worked with Professional Football Players at a Premier League Football Club, dealing with the treatment and management of injuries.
During the past ten years John has been developing his private clinics, alongside his Physiotherapy associates, so that the standard of treatment that has been available to professional sportsmen, is now available to all.
Conor has recently graduated with a 1st Class Honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. He has developed his hands on treatments through gaining qualifications as a Sports Massage Practitioner in which he has treated high level athletes.
The Kidderminster practice is on the outskirts of the town centre, with its own parking and is within easy reach of Birmingham, Bromsgrove and the M5/M42 motorway networks.
These clinics are experienced at treating conditions such as Neck Pain, Whiplash, Shoulder Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow, Repetitive Strain Injury, Lower Back Pain, Groin Pain, Sciatica, Hamstring Strain, Knee Problems, Calf Tear Achillies Tendonitis, Ankle Strain, Foot Pain, Joint Pain Muscle Injury, Tendon Problems, Back Complaints and other conditions.
We are accredited / recognised by most major health insurers and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and The Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP)
TYPICAL SESSION
A typical session will involve an initial consultation, when a detailed personal history of the patient will be taken.. This will also involve a detailed history of the condition that is to be treated. Once this has been completed, a treatment plan will be decided upon. Treatment may involve
* Manual Therapy
* Muscle imbalance and stability work
* Personal rehabilitation exercise programmes
* Electrotherapy
* Soft tissue mobilisations
* Gait analysis
* Acupuncture
If further sessions are required, then that will be discussed upon completion of the initial consultation.
