The Zoo Childcare
Hello my name is Emma and I am an Ofsted registered childminder living in Kidderminster. I decided to take a career change shortly after having my little boy Harley.
As a working parent I understand the pressures of finding good quality childcare which compliments your own beliefs and principles. It is therefore my aim to provide a safe, stimulating and fun environment for your child/children, yet keep it at a relaxed pace to emulate a home from home feeling.
It is easy to feel that childcare is limited to a traditional nursery setting that is restricted to the site they occupy. A huge benefit of using a registered childminder is that your child/children can enjoy the freedom, be able to participate in planned activities in a variety of settings and at the same time provide an excellent standard of childcare.
I offer my setting as a base for day to day childcare. I have my own family and so I consider my setting to be a safe and happy to suit the needs of all the children I care for. I have a dedicated playroom area with a range of age appropriate toys and activities on offer throughout the day, together with a large garden complete with a selection of toys for outside play. In addition I have a safe and quiet area to be able to cater for those children that need to sleep during the day and a lounge that I use for relaxing and quiet time.
I am fortunate that I am well situated within Kidderminster and can take advantage of lots of different activities, such as; St George’s Park, Baxter Park, Springfield Park, Hurcott Woods, Rainbow Children’s Centre, The Glades Leisure Centre, Ball Pit, The Severn Valley Railway and Kidderminster’s local library.
During school holidays when there is more time to travel we venture out to places like; The Sea Life Centre, Cinema, Bowling, The Safari Park, Wyre Forest, Cadbury World and much more.
