Motherwell is a large town and former burgh in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, south east of Glasgow. The name "Moderwelt" appears on a map of Lanarkshire made by Timothy Pont some time between 1583 and 1611 and printed in the Netherlands in around 1652, although the settlement was probably little more than a hamlet at that time. The town was a burgh from 1865 until it merged with the burgh of Wishaw in 1920.

We are a friendly group based in North Motherwell Parish Church for parents and children from ages birth to 5 years who live in the area. We are on every Mon and Thurs Mornings from 10am until 11.30am, cost is £1. We have a selection of toys available for children of all ages and parents can relax and chat in a comfortable and friendly environment. Tea/coffee and juice/snacks for the children are provided. Come along if you can!
