Battlegroup UK, Battlegroup HQ and Team BG-UK are all one in the same company!
Battlegroup HQ is our shop, a very physically real place, on the high street, nestled between top brand names such as Sports Direct, and all the major retail stores in the town of Neath, South Wales. It's easy to get to, be it by car, train, or bus. We're just off the M4, and Neath is sort of in the middle of the south, between Swansea and Port Talbot.
The HQ is on two floors. The ground floor accomodates our Army Surplus and field gear. Whether you want a pair of boots, a chest rig, or a whole uniform load out, this is the place for you! There's also some pretty cool kit knocking around the shop; Ammo tins, Mess tins; Tins of Polish, Jerry Cans, Gas Masks, Bungee's, Cookers, Rations, KFS, Poncho's, in fact, everything you'd expect from an Army surplus store!
The second floor is our Airsoft Paradise, and a safe haven for Team BG-UK (More on that later!). On display are some of the most popular Airsoft guns, from major manufacturers, as well as some lesser known guns and support 'weapons'. Pyro in abundance, BB's galore, and all the add-on's and stick on's you could ever dream of!
Our Airsoft cafe is also on this floor (The first of it's kind!) where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea, coffee, soup, or whatever else our superb machine can produce, or perhaps a quick snack, whatever you fancy - there may not be a grill, but you can certainly have a fill, and enjoy the scrolling videos and images of our team members on game days on the LCD screens around the shop.
Next to the cafe is our 'self service' centre. You can bring your gun to be repaired or upgraded. You can borrow our tools and technical know on how to get the job done too. The self service centre is a first of it's kind, as is the parts vending machine next to it, filled with all the most common parts and attachments!
All this is free, for our Team members, what's also free, is membership into Team BG-UK!
Team BG-UK, our very own airsoft team, is not so much a clan, or group, but a team of like minded people. Our ethos is very simple, and there are a set of basic ethical rules which we obide by. Membership is totally and utterly free, and theres a whole load of benefits and advantages. To find out more, visit our team page.
Battlegroup UK encompasses everything we do, and cares for the online retail side of the company. All orders are controlled from here, and all plans are driven forwards. The hub is the nerve centre, and is hidden away from sight on the second floor too. It's a pretty secure place, and it needs to be! Battlegroup UK takes and places orders all over the world, in all currencies. It's from here also your online orders are checked, and packed, labeled and shipped.
If you've ever received a package from us, you will note the care and attention that goes into every item shipped out. It costs us more, but we have managed to avoid issues in transit simply by over packing every item.
Also on the second floor is our customer toilets, and, if you open the wrong door, you'll find a shower! Why? Well, we have staff who are busy training people in outdoor courses and taking groups on survival and adventure days. We don't encourage the staff to walk around with a towel on their waist, but we do like to keep them clean after a day of gorge walking or caving!
It's quite a big company as you can see. Theres always a warm welcome for you at Battlegroup HQ, and we very much look forwards to seeing you in the near future!
