Our Location Located between the beautiful villages of Normanton on the Wolds and Plumtree, with open views, our nursery is a single story purpose-built facility providing a bright, airy, homely and secure environment. The Nursery Our specially designed nursery is bright, cheerful and stimulating with displays of the children's work and well-kept resources. Outside we have a secure, easily accessible garden where children are given the opportunity to extend their learning. Education Each day is carefully planned to ensure that there are a variety of activities that are exciting, interesting, informative and fun! The whole nursery follows the Government guidelines on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Activities are planned to be appropriate for each child's abilities and learning needs, whilst remaining flexible enough to accommodate spontaneous interest and events. Socialisation is an important aspect of a child's educational development. Through being involved with group activities there are many skills a child will develop and these will encourage self-confidence, sharing, turn taking and conversational development, ensuring your child is introduced to our rich, culturally diverse society. Admissions It is a big decision to decide whom to entrust your child for daily care. We would welcome the opportunity to meet you and discuss any aspect of the service we offer. It is vitally important for you to feel confident in making the right choice for your child. If you do decide to join us, we offer trial sessions/visits, in order that you and your child feel happy and safe with us. Opening hours The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am through to 6.00pm. We are open 50 weeks of the year, closing for all Bank Holidays, one week including the August bank holiday and one week during the Christmas/New Year period (with half day on Christmas Eve). We cater for full and part time sessions.

I have a wide range of experience of working with both children and adults, as well as a BA hons in Early Years Education Studies degree from the University of Leicester. I work alongside the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and the Childcare Register to be able to assess, observe, plan activities and the layout of my setting, to be able to suit your child's individual needs. I am based in South Normanton, this means your child can grow up in their community, visiting the local shops and parks they're familiar with and usually still be able to attend local clubs. I provide an exciting, caring and stimulating environment with plenty of learning and development opportunities. My working hours are 7:30am-6.00pm Monday- Friday, however, I am Flexible to be able to suit your family's needs and can child mind siblings. Why use a Childminder?? Childcare costs are increasing and Nursery fees set to rise this year by 6%. However, my prices are not changing and include all meals, snacks and drinks! I also ACCEPT childcare vouchers through the employee salary sacrifice scheme, and can assist if you are eligible for working tax credits. Also, Nursery schools and classes have a minimum ratio of 2:20/26, unlike a Childminder who has only 1:6 under 8 years!

Masjid Darul Arqam was established in 2005,we currently are holding five times prayers daily and also Salaatul Jumua'h on Fridays.Alhamdu Lillah we are also running an excellent and very successful Madrasah system,our classes are run daily Mon-Fri(5pm till 7 30pm)for 4+ boys and girls till18 years of age.We have seperate female classes with qualified female teachers.Anyone wishing to register their children at the Madrasah or to aquire any further information must contact us on 07737893562.
