We are dedicated to improving and building a better start for children by delivering the highest quality of nursery care, health and education through planned activities and child initiated play where all children are welcome and each individual child is valued and respected for their own ideas, feelings, and abilities in a happy and safe environment.

The Tiddlywinks nursery has been established since 1993 and has an excellent reputation. In recent years has undergone amazing transformations to create a modern and inclusive environment to provide exceptional quality education and child care. In 2009, Brian and Lorraine Mitchell (Proprietors) accomplished this by constructing additional gated parking, outstanding indoor and outdoor play areas, extending another seven rooms which created a beautiful setting which all the children access, enjoy and feel safe. Our outdoor play area has been designed and developed having huge input of ideas and designs from our nursery children and parents. Access from our wooded bespoke walkways having flat level ground gives continuous flow of care and education both indoors and outdoors on a daily basis regardless of weather as it has spacious sheltered gazebos areas with lighting, a large sit in sandpit, construction area, reading area, picnic area and drama stage all under cover. It has amazing climbing frames with slides from Sovereign Play, extended wooded train, stepping stones, role play cabin and all situated on soft play ground. We have outdoor music playing throughout the day with disco lighting; we have outdoor toileting and wash facilities with fresh drinking water on demand. A greenhouse has been installed for the children to grow plants, flower beds and make compass using our very own recycling materials that also facilitates our wormery and seasonal flower beds.
All rooms:
*have rest and sleep areas with individual beds and bedding.
*Set up under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines to explore creativity, role play, construction, Numeracy, sand and water play, sensory areas, music, movement and small world.
*CCTV cameras for monitoring by management.
