Redditch Guitar Club
The Redditch Guitar Club is run by Rocktave Music Teaching Studios, situated above Cafe Mambo @ No.5 in Redditch Town Centre.
It is a great way to learn, perform and gain confidence. We start with a 30 minute lesson usualy given by Clem Dallaway, a guitar tutor since 1997 but other guest tutors will be taking part from time to time. After that, sheets will be given out for a song that has been sorted out to suit each individuals ability. Once everyone is comfortable with the song we will perform it as a group.
This should give us time for a performance at the end, perhaps you can sing?
Not only are you learning or advancing your guitar skills, you get the chance to play to a friendly audience, without having to feel like you have to be the next Jimi Hemdrix! Everyone will have the chance to play.
Other instruments are also welcome such as Ukelele, Mandolin & Bass etc as long as you give us plenty of notice, music for those instruments can be arranged as Clem also teaches those instruments too!
Tea, coffee, food and alcohol are available from the bistro downstairs!

Clem also runs an acoustic open mic night where anyone can get up and perfrom or just come along to watch!
