Rickmansworth Sailing Club is a hidden gem, on the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders at West Hyde situated between Maple Cross and Denham, just off the A412
The Club sails 52 weeks a year and offers competative racing, family sailing and training on its club owned lake of 45 acres.
The club has a long and proud history. New members receive a book telling the story of RSC from its' beginning in 1930. The club started at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome and moved to its' present site in 1959, buying the lake from Portland Cement in 1971. Until the early 90's racing was confined to three classes, Fireflys, Int 14 and Mirrors. Today racing is arranged around a handicap fleet but the regular presence of Fireflys and Int 14s reflect earlier days.
