Company Overview
Based in Runcorn, we hold weekly training sessions at the Grangeway Community Centre in Runcorn. Every Saturday from 10:30am til 4pm. Here you will be taught all aspects of wrestling from our top quality training team.
The RWA was founded by Andy Baker (Andreas Rossi). Andy is one of the UK's finest talents and recently came back home after training with the WWE feeder school OVW to give the people of Runcorn and others a chance to fulfill their dreams and give something back to the community. After imparting his knowledge to our training team, Andy is now wrestling over in Florida, where he is a numerous time world champion. He regularly visits the school to aid in the training of our trainees, and to keep us up to date with all the new skills he learns.
You will be taught everything you need to get the experience in pro wrestling, in a fully insured area along with a pro wrestling ring and mats for additional safety. Training features a strong emphasis on cardiovascular fitness and character development, in addition to the basics of professional wrestling.
Training sessions are available in two classes.
Juniors (Under 16's)
Seniors (16 and over)
Training fees are £6.50 per session for juniors and £7 for seniors, and we recommend you train in comfortable sports attire. Kneepads and elbow pads come highly recommended as well
We are now in our 8th year of operation and we continue to grow and offer the people of Runcorn and beyond the chance to witness monthly pro wrestling shows. We were recently featured on BBC1 tv show Inside Out and also we had a written article about the RWA in the publication Granta.
Training not for you... Fear not. We are always on the lookout for people in other roles such as media production, referees, managers, valets. Or if you just want to watch some of our wrestlers in action you can have a great night out at an RWA supershow.
