Independent Training Academy
Welcome to the Independent Training Academy, we provide fast track fully accredited courses in all beauty therapy levels 2 and 3 also some interesting enhancement courses not usually taught at the above standards. The team of trainers that we use are all fully qualified college tutors and assessors all our courses are fully accredited by the guild of beauty therapists who also offer our students a full working and public liability combined insurance. A 10% discount is given by the Guild to all our successful students on application.
Training
At the Independent Training Academy we offer one day/one week fast track accredited training courses in your own home/salon, no travelling required, We place great emphasis on providing high quality fast track training. Our week long courses in either beauty or nails are designed to teach you several treatments that you can build on by attending one day wholesaler courses. A weeks course is £800.00 per person, with up to 4 students per class. You are required to pay a non refundable deposit of £100.00 at least 2 weeks prior to the course date by Bacs payment, transfer, or cheque which must have cleared 2 weeks before the course date, the balance must be paid in full prior to the course date.All products, disposables, equipment. manuals etc are provided

Students may be requested if working alone to provide a model for the day. Students are also requested to dress appropriately, normally their usual uniforn or black trousers and a cotton top including shoes that have a filled in toe no boots . Hair including fringes must be clipped back off the face, please remove all nail extensions and nail varnish prior to the day. Jeans and flip flops and open toe shoes are not acceptable. Incorrect dress etc may result in your tutor being unable to train you.
All eye treatments require a 48hour patch test prior to the training day to eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction . Your Trainer will be happy to discuss any questions you may have with regard to this test.
For each course students will receive:
A manual and input on health and safety with a multiple choice H/S test
The manual and input on the course
A practical demonstration from your course trainer
Hands on practise
Feedback and advice from the trainer
The student will be given the chance to discuss any issues that may have arisen during the day
On presentation of your certificate your trainer will provide you with her telephone number for you to call in the future for further advice.
On competent completion a certificate accredited by The Beauty Guild stating that you have satisfied the academy and have attained the required standard, which enables the student to obtain the appropriate treatment and public liability insurance and membership to the Guild.
