Zumba® for children is finally here! It's called Zumbatomic® 'Big Starz' specially designed for children under 13 years of age. The class is on Saturday from 11:30am - 12:15pm at Spelthorne Leisure Centre, Knowle Green, Staines, TW18 1AJ. Price: £4 per class, pay as you go. The goal of Zumbatomic is to develop a healthy lifestyle, and to incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives, not just as a class they attend once a week. While exercise is indeed a very import element of childhood development, Zumbatomic also considers other factors of the child’s development: leadership, respect, teamwork, pride, confidence, responsibility, coordination, balance, discipline, memory and creativity. There's also plenty of games, smiles and laughter along the way!

SHOWCASE is a hub for great, youth led music concerts! Come down and prepare to have the roof blown off at The Hall, St. Peters Staines! Regular concerts will come at you from young bands all over Spelthorne! Its gonna be a great place to see all the young and upcoming stars! Its gunna be epic and will give ages 13-17 somewhere to party on a Saturday night! £3 at the door, but there's gotta be a limit, so be there first! Forget the Ps3s and Xbox's, forget all the Tvs, just come on down! First concert is 11th May, 7:30-10:00pm. So be ready, cause its gonna be beast!

Everyone Active School of Dance launched on 5th September 2011 at Spelthorne Leisure Centre in Staines. The school offers classes in Ballet, Tap and Modern for children aged 3+ and Street Dance for children aged 5+. Classes are half an hour and run Monday – Saturday. Children are encouraged to book on to more than one discipline. Our classes are taught by experienced teacher and professional dancer Leana Howard. Leana still regularly dances professionally and often works with influential industry professionals. This gives us an edge on other local schools.
