St Paul's Church Alverthorpe

St Paul's Church Alverthorpe

St. Paul's Drive, Wakefield ,
We are a church in the middle of the Anglican tradition that tries to merge the modern with the traditional. For example, we use a digital projector to make it easier for visitors to follow the services without having to find their place in different service and hymn books. We are committed to our work with families and uniformed groups. We run a sunday school during school term. Most months we have a parade/family service, usually on the second Sunday of the month. We also run a service after school during term time. We occasionally run children's workshops. We realize that many people have quiet spirituality so we run a quieter evening service once a month (see calendar for details). For example this quiet service could take the form of Celtic prayer, Taize prayer, a service of inner peace and healing. Services
