Thornleigh Day Nursery has been running with great success for 12 years. We are situated in a central but quiet location within walking distance from the local schools, a great help to working parents. All our staff have the relevant qualification, experience and a genuine love for children. We care for all children aged between 3 months and 8 years. We provide children with healthy well balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. We aim for a home from home atmosphere, encouraging children to learn through play in our resourceful environment with the guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Serving freshly made dishes, using only the most local and fresh ingredients, including all homemade dishes including our pasta and all our yummy desserts and cakes made daily on site. Also our bar stocks over 30 different varieties of vodka, with a wide selection of wines, brandies and liqueurs, and also a welcoming cocktail menu using fresh ingredients.

About the lodge We are setting up the lodge to accommodate 8 people from March 2013 season. It's a large, comfy lodge with ample bedroom space. We have purchased this lodge after enjoying many holiday years in the Lakes District. As a large family we sometimes had difficulty finding the correct accommodation for all of us. As the lodge is part of one our family homes we hope that you feel completely at home as well. It is our intention for our visitors to relax and participate in the delights The Lakes.
