Hidden in Knaresboroughs Frazer Theatre Generation Arts is a Charity based Youth Theatre for ages 7 -11. We have sessions every Monday evening using the Frazers brand new community room from 5pm till 6.30pm. Each session cost £3.50 which is a 'Dramatically' low price (Excuse the pun!), being a charity based group all the money we gain goes straight back into the community! Our aim is to give all children the chance to be part of a team, working towards performances using all aspects of the performing arts. Frazer Theatre gives us the fantastic opportunity to use the full working stage, lights & sound, costumes and set, a privilege not many youth groups have! Craig Knowles Artist Blacksmith designs and creates hand made exciting & original contemporary metalwork. He has worked from his studio in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for the past sixteen years and his portfolio ranges from interior furniture, gates and railings to large public sculpture. I am an Artist Blacksmith, designer/maker ‘with a hands on’ approach. I predominantly work with steel and use many traditional and new technologies to achieve a design. I have also used other materials within my works, stainless steel, glass, plastics, wood and stone. Nearly all works and processes are carried out at my studio in Sunderland and my assistants and myself carry out most installations. I have been involved with many community projects of various scales and situations, sometimes the results are direct physical representations that come from workshops, and sometimes it is one phrase or a little story that will influence the finished works.
