The UJIA Library has reopened after a long hiatus! Come along to review your knowledge about Israel, learn about the Holocaust, strengthen your Zionism, brush up on your leadership skills or simply study for your exams in peace! Everybody is welcome, but please note that this is a library, so please be quiet and respectful of others at all times! There is also Free Wi-Fi available, so bring along your laptop. Just don't forget your headphones if you want to watch one of our interesting DVD's or listen to music. We are always open as long as someone is in the building, this is usually 9-5 on Monday to Thursday and then most Fridays, however it is always best to call, email or facebook us first before you show up just to be sure! We are open at the following times: Monday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm Tuesday: Closed Wednesday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm Thursday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm Friday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 5pm Saturday: 9am - 1pm, then 2 - 4.30pm Sunday: Closed We are located behind the village car park next to the community centre and field. The Library prides itself on its friendly and cheerful service. It is very much a part of the local community www.hagleyvillage.org/ Our lending books can be borrowed for 3 weeks. We have a good selection of books for all ages. Our Adult Section has fiction, large print and non-fiction books as well as a small local history and reference section. Our Young Adult Section is bright and inviting and sited away from the bustle of the junior library with a handy table for homework! The Children's Library is well stocked with board books for babies, picture books and storybooks for older children. We have a large range of junior non-fiction books to help with homework too. Audio Books are available for loan at a cost of £1.00 for 3 weeks. DVDs are available to hire for one week at a cost of £1.00 for U, PG and 12 cert and £1.50 for 15 & 18 cert. We also have a selection of Blu-Ray DVDs, one weeks hire for just £3.00. We have a scanner within the library linked to the public network computer. If you need to scan a document, book computer "HG2" We have free internet access on two computers that are available for public use. The computers don't just have internet but have a wide range of facilities including word processing, iTunes and Google Earth. There is a booking system inplace for the computers and we advise you to telephone the library to book a time to avoid disappointment. WiFi provision is now available at Hagley Library.
