WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY? Whether you’re a raw beginner or you used to play years ago and fancy coming back to it, come and drop in on our club session on Thursday evening. Your first session is FREE, and we can lend you a bat if you don’t have your own. WHEN AND WHERE IS IT? The club is at Denbigh Leisure Centre, Ruthin Road, Denbigh (next door to the High School). Main club night is Thursday, when we have up to ten tables , and we’re there from 6.30 to 9.30. For more information get in touch with us here on Facebook or check out our website. HOW OLD (OR YOUNG!) DO YOU HAVE TO BE? Our youngest members are seven years old, and the oldest well over seventy. Younger beginners normally come from 6.30 until about 7.45, so adults tend to come later on, but are welcome earlier too. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Everybody’s first session is free. After that: Primary School age juniors pay £10 for 5 weeks, and come from 6.30 to 8.00 on Thursdays. Older juniors (up to 18) pay an annual membership of £10.00, plus £2.50 per session. Adult players pay an annual membership of £15.00 and a session fee of £3.50; the session lasts until 9.30pm. Non members pay a session fee of £3.50 (juniors) or £4.00 (adults). Primary-age juniors who are keen and want to stay longer can “upgrade” to the full rate. Please note these rates may change when the new season starts in September. IS THERE COACHING? Yes. Denbigh has one Level Two and four Level One coaches, as well as a number of practice partners. There is regular coaching for junior players, both during club nights and for longer sessions during school holidays. We also offer coaching help for adult players, as well as the occasional 1-day training camp. Since October 2009, we have also had the coaching services of Alan Griffiths, who was National Coach of Wales for more than 20 years. Alan is with us Thursday and Friday each week during term time.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts have been nurturing and developing young people's potential for over 21 years. We not only deliver quality performance arts training but ensure that each child gets the most out of their experience by building life skills and confidence while having a lot of fun and meeting new friends. Every student from aged 4-18 years participates in each of the three musical theatre disciplines - Drama, Dance and Singing. Each three hour session for 6-18 year old is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people get the chance to learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building. Often copied, but never equalled, Stagecoach has remained the market leader for children's performing arts, reaching beyond the scope of normal after-school clubs. In addition to the opportunity for students to take internationally recognised examinations, young people get regular reports and awards for long standing achievement. Denbigh Golf Club Course Maintenance page has been set-up and managed by Karl Parry - Course Manager. By moving into the modern era of social networking which is FREE I am able to keep all members, visitors, greenkeepers and anyone else who likes the page up to date with all the work we carry out. I will show how we carry out our Aeration, Mowing practises, maintenance and everything else required in the day to day running of Denbigh Golf Course all via pictures, videos and sausage updates. This facebook page is also great for everyone to comment on the work carried out and anything else that maybe happening. Let's face it not all golf club members go into the clubhouse and won't to fill in the comment book, so by creating a freedom of speech for all to have their say this gives those the opportunity to have their say.
