The Backroom Leeds
The Backroom Leeds is a new venue situated under the railway bridge on Call Lane, in between Brooklyn Bar and Rock Bar.
1920's themed bar and event space. We have an extensive range of cocktails to suit all tastes, world beers, Gins and Bourbon Whiskeys.
Music policy at the weekends is RnB, Hip Hop, Motown & Disco.

The concept originates from the prohibition. Alcohol’s popularity created a roaring trade for hundreds of illegal bars, known as ‘Speakeasies’.
Here at the Backroom Leeds, we have created a little taste of the past & prohibition era. Serving classic prohibition cocktails upstairs, and a cocktail list to evoke memories of your childhood in the downstairs bar, themed as a Sweet Shop…... you can buy bags of sweets from the bar too!

The Downstairs Bar and ‘Sweet Shop’:
150 capacity room with a large bar, A/V facilities, fantastic ‘Sweet Shop’ cocktail list to tantalise your taste buds & plenty of comfy seating. This room is perfect for corporate events & private parties. Available for hire 7 days a week
The Upstairs Bar and ‘Back Room’:
350 capacity area situated under 2 railway arches, with lots of comfy booth seating, A/V facilities, a large bar, dance floor and private outside smoking area. Perfect for larger events and club nights. Available for hire all day Sunday - Friday, and until 11pm on Saturday.

Fed up of queuing to get in, can’t find a seat, spend too long waiting at the bar?! Why not book one of our VIP tables?....our hosts will meet you on arrival and provide table service, so you can enjoy spending time socialising rather than queuing! Packages start from £100

We are a large event space in the heart of Leeds City Centre, situated by the Corn Exchange, close car parking, and just a few mins walk from the train and bus stations. With 2 large rooms and a capacity of 500, the Back Room Leeds is the perfect place to hold your corporate event. The team here are very experienced in hosting Christmas parties, after work drinks, leaving do’s, networking events, product launches, conferences, training days and team building sessions.
