Now I don't mean to brag but it's fair to say that we absolutely smashed it, took the famous Toon nightlife by storm and fast became the most popular bar in Geordieland. Then we went to Sheffield. Yeah we smashed that too. Let's just say that Sheffield didn't know what hit them. If I'm being honest, if you live in Sheffield and you haven't been to Players, you're pretty much a nobody. In the summer our courtyard provides sun drenched sanctuary from the city centre. Built in 1802, The Cross Keys was a watering hole for local foundry workers and houses a colourful history.
