This is the official Facebook page for Newcastle Climbing Centre:- The premier indoor climbing venue for Tyneside and the North East and one of the best indoor climbing venues in the U.K. Situated in the former church of St Marks the listed building provides a spectacular climbing environment with an internal height of 15 metres and over 1200 square metres of climbing walls for roped climbing and bouldering. Whatever your standard of climbing either novice or expert there are features and challenges to suit your ability and your ambition. We offer taster sessions, introductory courses and instruction for all ages in a safe and controlled environment. Our mezzanine viewing area, cardio gym, specialist gear shop, comfortable changing rooms and meeting room provide the very best facilities to all our visitors.

We are a new social enterprice based on the Ouseburn, Quayside in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK. Open 7 days a week: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Saturday 10.00am - 6.00pm Sunday 10.00am - 5.00pm There is a cafe with fresh coffee, homemade cake throughout the day and lunchtime menu. Either eat in or plonk yourself on the seating area on the river front - the best views of Newcastle for sure! Alongside the cafe we have a bike hire facility, with bikes available for half day (£15), full day (£25) or longer periods. These tend to be hybrid bikes, but road bikes and mountain bikes are available on request. We are also home to Saddle Skedaddle Cycling Holidays www.skedaddle.co.uk and BikeRight!

Prestwick Mill Farm Stables is situated near both Dinnington and Ponteland and is only a few miles out of Newcastle. It is a livery yard and small stud. Each year we breed a limited number of foals and consequently often have young stock for sale. We also sometimes have horses and ponies for sale. We offer all types of livery (inc retirement and working livery) and have 32 stables with 100 acres of grazing land at Prestwick and 80 acres of grazing land at Matfen. Horses never need bump into each other! As we live on site, the yard has 24hr supervision. Locked tack rooms, rubber matting and drinkers in most stables ensure a comfortable nights sleep for your horse or pony. There is plenty of off road hacking (as we are situated off any main roads along a single track country lane), a floodlight sand arena, showjumps and a few cross country jumps. The yard is a family run business by people who love horses. We try to offer good value for money in a relaxed atmosphere. The yard isn't full of rules and regulations and we try to offer something for everyone
