Fortunately our highly experienced and motivated staff and our continuous investment in modern diverse equiptment enables us to achieve this ambition to such an extent that we have become the de facto standard in high quality value for money point of sale and display acrylic items.
The core of our business is our manufacturing side and we value the people there. we invest heavily in training but we also welcome experienced personnell into our ranks to bring freshness and new ideas and challenge us all.
For the same reason we welcome a frank exchange of ideas with others in our industry in the UK and further afield in Europe and the USA. This enables us all to produce better products for you our customers which is why we are here. We love to be challenged by our customers. Some years ago a young designer working for a cosmetic company decided he would break with the angular designs of the day and introduce curves. We developed a way to produce what he wanted but no sooner had we mastered this than he designed a more outrageous technical challenge. The net result of all this was that our stores became a more fluid space and we became very good moulders of acrylic.
One of our directors had a large input to the development of the torch used to flame polish acrylic with acetylene gas which resulted in a substantial decrease in the use of mop and soap polishing and subsequent higher quality and cheaper costs and we think we were the first company to use lasers to cut acrylic for point of sale on an industrial scale These are just a couple of the ways in which we were effective but it is an ongoing process and you can be assured that we are always seeking new materials and tecnologies to improve our service to our customers. We are probably unique in our belief that it should cost no more to produce a high quality item than a mediocre one materials being equal. High quality craftsmen and equiptment will produce the former and do so quicker. Our fast response time and our good stock of material often enable us to make and deliver a job while our comperitors would be still thinking about it.We can work from verbal briefs, back of an envelope sketchs. or fully detailed drawings and will produce rendered computer models or/and fully functioning prototypes to make sure that we have understood the brief exactly before we comit to a production run. We will often produce a prototype to the clients specification and a second one based on our interpretation to We welcome visits from clients, particularily in these early stages, to develope their confidence in us.
