Set in the beautiful town of Ashbourne, the White Hart sits in the centre of town with a rich history spanning back as an 18th century coach house. Nowadays things have shaped up to be one of the most popular pubs in the town. With a fine selection of draft lagers, ciders and of course an ever changing choice of ales with some of our favorites on all the time we have the drink side of things well and truly sorted. We also here at the Hart are massive whisky fans and it shows with our whisky shelve theirs always something that we are sure you wont of seen/tried before with single cask malts to the more popular! Currently we have the only video jukebox in town for all 3 of our spacious rooms ranging from the top 40 to some less well known artists, we are sure you'll find something to your taste. If musics not your thing then maybe sport is with 3 large hd screens you'll be able to watch your favorite sport in comfort. If its on tv we will not hesitate to show it for you. From sky sports 1 for the Saturday football, Rugby league and everything else in between. Failing the above you can always give a game of pool ago on our new table, or maybe throw a few arrows in our darts room and failing all that you can always come in put your feet up by our real fire or when the sun finally comes out sit outside on our decking and enjoy the sunshine Keep your eyes peeled for events and offers which will be posted on a regular basis and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Rivendale Holiday Park

Rivendale Holiday Park

Alsop en le Dale, Ashbourne ,
Located over 1000 feet above sea level at the junction of Eaton, Alsop and Biggin Dales, Rivendale is ideal for mountain biking, rambling and walking from trails and cycle ways leading directly from our site. The Tissington Trail – just 100 metres from our site entrance provides access to the “Trails Triangle” formed with the High Peak Trail and cycle way around Carsington Reservoir. Footpaths from Rivendale lead into the dramatic limestone scenery of the upper reaches of Dove Dale – about 11/2 miles away. The Peak District offers more than just outdoor activities however, with cultural and historic sites as diverse as Chatsworth, Alton Towers, Buxton Opera house, National Tram Museum, Richard Arkwright’s Mills within the Derwent Valley World Heritage site, Gulliver’s Kingdom, a variety of caves and caverns, stately homes and castles, to name a few. Not to mention the local arts festivals, well dressings, flower show, game fair and other events at Chatsworth; even if it rains there is always something to do. Or “chill out” in the hot tub after strolling around the acres of wild flower meadows and woodland that surround the camping and caravan pitches at Rivendale.
