My name is Tony Mann and the founder and owner of
Focus on Cornwall it is situated in the far southwest just outside the historic mining town of Camborne, formerly one of the richest tin mining areas in the world. Within easy reach of both the North and South coast, and only 22 miles from Lands End, this is a natural home for photographic inspiration.
You can now enjoy photographic workshops in Cornwall with its impressive landscapes, seascapes and beautiful scenery, all in close proximity.
These workshops will involve walking on designated trails and may entail a certain amount of walking on rough terrain and some uphill hiking These are digital workshops designed for both the novice and more advanced photographer. You will shoot a wide range of images weather permitting we will cover the basics in photography, and concentrate on, exposure, metering, composition and basic camera techniques, we will also explore the use of filters to enhance your photographs, and discus technical issues. The aim is for you to get an understanding of your equipment and getting the best experience possible.
Our groups are small ; a maximum of 4. Alternatively one to one tuition is available.
