The Book People Colchester is a team of 4, Stuart Millar, Nathan Barber, John Hartley, Michael Banks and Robert Barber. We visit over 800 businesses every week delivering and collecting sample boxes and fulfilling orders for new books. On an average week the team will sell more than 2000 books (more than 4 pallets), and give away over 100 books to charities and organisations.

Each week I run 10 classes in the Colchester area. Why not come along and join them to see what I can do for you. I know how difficult it can be to lose weight. I joined my local Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness class in 2003 at 5’3” weighing over 12 stone, when my nurse advised me that exercise with a healthy low fat diet was the best thing for me. I had just been diagnosed with a thyroid problem, but that has not stopped me losing over 2 stone. I loved the combination of a healthy eating plan with an exercise programme, and was encouraged by my Rosemary Conley instructor Tracey to go on to train in Exercise to Music and Nutrition. I then taught classes for Tracey for 4 and a half years as an employee, before taking over the franchise from Tracey in August 2009. This experience has changed my life and I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your weight loss journey. My mum Pauline and my daughter Laura are both cashiers at the classes and are a great support. KARDY-O-FUN is a new collaboration between Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness Clubs and fitness performer Kardy. It is exclusive to Rosemary Conley classes.

Colchester’s freshest bar, Tin Pan Alley opened for business on Saturday 27th November. Located at 7 Queen Street in Colchester, the venue, which was previously the What? Bar, has been taken on by business partners Doug Archell and Ben Spetsiotis. “We looked at a number of premises in the town, but the opportunity to breathe new life into this building was one we could not overlook.
