The Wild Hunt Glastonbury

The Wild Hunt Glastonbury

7 Benedict Street, , Glastonbury ,
Our shop, The Wild Hunt, is situated in the famously eccentric - and deeply spiritual - town of Glastonbury in Somerset. It takes it's name from the fabled spectral hunt which is said to burst forth from the depths of Glastonbury's famous Tor at Samhain. The hunt is associated with other regions too, and is said to be led by the horned God Cernunnos, or his English counterpart Herne, or even Arthur himself. Here in Glastonbury it is Gwyn ap Nudd, the king of the celtic otherworld who rides at the head of his pack of ghostly white hounds and hunts down the souls of the dead. You won't find artwork or artifacts depicting the Goddess in our shop. The Wild Hunt is dedicated to honouring the God in all his aspects, and to celebrating the Divine male. Blessed Be.

Various venues, Glastonbury ,
11 DAYS OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA, ART and MORE IN THE HEART OF GLASTONBURY TOWN The Fringe is a series of events being organised by the amazing community of people in Glastonbury town who already promote, perform and produce events thoughout the year. The Fringe will bring them together for one big showcase of what Glastonbury, the town, has to offer. Plans are already well underway with details being added to the website as they are confirmed, but we thought it was time to launch ourselves on Facebook as well. The Fringe team are only co-ordinating what is going on, so if you want to perform/exhibit/take part then you will need to contact one of promoters or venues who are putting on events. If you would like to get involved in helping with the Fringe in any other way do contact us at info@glastonbury-fringe.co.uk. We’ll keep this page updated with news and you can find out more about some of the music events on their very own Facebook page at www.facebook.com/GlastonburyFringeMusic
