My name is Gavin, I am 34 years of age and I have been playing the drums since 1993 and teaching since 2008. I have played in many bands, playing in rock, metal, physcobilly, punk, folk, grindcore, death metal, black metal and funk bands since the mid 1990's across the U.K and Europe.
I have recorded in different studios across the UK both with musicians I have been playing with and as a session musician for other artists.
In 2012 I completed my B.A Music degree at the University of Southampton.
Lessons can be consist of an overall approach to drumming covering most styles, reading and writing drum notation, rudiments, tuning and playing with other musicians, or can be arranged to cover specialist subjects such as metal drumming, graded exams or just specific areas such as double bass drumming, playing on larger drum kits or JUST FOR FUN.
Lessons taught weekdays daytime and evening and weekends daytime or evening.
