Lazy Daisy Birthing is a unique mix of antenatal classes, birth education, yoga-inspired movement, and active labouring techniques, all brought together to provide mums-to-be with a relaxed and confident approach to labour and birth.

Daisy Birthing is a gentle but effective method of birth preparation, incorporating active movement and practical learning so that when it comes to give birth, Daisy mums intuitively use the techniques they have learned naturally and effectively.
Whether this is your first or fifth baby, whether you have SPD or back problems, a breech baby or a previous difficult birth, and even if you are planning an elective caesarian, Daisy Birthing classes can help you to feel empowered about your labour.
As a previous Lazy Daisy student, I can say first-hand that the techniques and support of the classes really make a difference. My second labour (after taking Daisy classes) was so very different from my first - I felt confident, in control and enjoyed my labour without any pain relief aside from Daisy Birthing movement and breathing.

FEDANT approved, we offer an alternative to pregnancy yoga or NCT and NHS antenatal classes, and offer an opportunity to meet other mums, relax, stretch and feel confident about your body and your birth.
WEEKLY CLASSES:
LEWES classes are held at the Mumababy Sanctuary on Cliffe High Street from 7.30-9pm on MONDAY EVENINGS
MONTHLY COUPLES WORKSHOPS:
Active birth couples workshops run each month (contact me or check my Facebook wall for the next date) where you and your partner can learn all about what to expect during labour and birth, as well as techniques for breathing, movement, positioning, relaxation and ways your birth partner can support you.
One-to-one classes and workshops are available too - contact me to find out how to book.

- Classes are currently just £54 for 6 weeks or £9 per drop-in session.
- Couples workshops cost £65 per couple and last around 3 hours
- One-to-one classes cost £35 each
**** DAISY BABY MASSAGE & YOGA CLASSES ****
Daisy Baby are now available in Lewes with two different classes to suit each stage of development.
WRIGGLERS CLASSES (suitable from 4/5 months to approx 1 year):
- Music, movement and baby yoga for little wrigglers!
- Songs, rhymes and rhythms to stretch and dance to
- Baby signing, sensory exploration and some bouncy baby boogie!
- A fun and friendly class to help develop motor skills and movement
- A chance to meet other mums and babies in your local area
LEWES classes are held at the Mumababy Sanctuary on Cliffe High Street from 10.30-11.30am on TUESDAY MORNINGS
TINIES CLASSES (suitable from 6 weeks to approx 5 months):
- Infant massage, calming and soothing techniques
- Baby signing, music and sensory work
- Gentle stretches and baby yoga
- Postnatal movement and confidence building for mum
- A supportive and friendly small group environment

Daisy Baby classes are a lovely chance to meet up with friends from your birthing class and get to meet all the new little ones! £7 per class or £28 for a 4 week block (to be taken any time within a 6 week term)
