Rochdale Training
Rochdale Training’s mission is to provide a continuously improving range of lifelong learning, development & business support services to meet the needs of individuals and to contribute cost effectively to improving the performance of business.
The company was formed as a charity in 1966 by the heads of leading local manufacturing employers primarily to manage and support the training of apprentices. Over the last forty years the company has grown considerably and now provides training to companies throughout Lancashire & Greater Manchester.
They are accredited to all the major government training organisations: Learning & Skills Council, ETP Greater Manchester and ETP Lancashire, and work with the best awarding bodies: City & Guilds, Institute of Learning & Management and EAL-EMTA Awards Ltd. Rochdale Training has been accredited to the Investor in People standard since 1999.
In addition to the core apprenticeship training in engineering, business administration and warehousing, Rochdale Training now offers a whole range of business development services such as Leadership & Management, IT, Electrical Training, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance. Courses are held at the centre in Rochdale, at companies’ own premises or at convenient locations.
In essence, Rochdale Training specialises in customising training to individual company needs and welcomes enquiries from any company, large or small.
