Bodelwyddan Castle & Park is a Victorian country house set in 260 acres of parkland and gardens. We are a partner of the National Portrait Gallery with over 100 portraits from the 19th Century displayed in a fine, period setting. We also have a changing exhibitions programme. We are family-friendly and have hands-on galleries, children's trails, a play area, and events throughout the year. Current Exhibition: National Portrait Gallery, Made in 1988 and Ffoto Alternative: Time 20th July to 8th September 2013

Bolton is one of the country’s best preserved medieval castles, situated in the heart of Wensleydale with stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Completed in 1399 by Richard le Scrope, Chancellor of England to Richard II, its scars bear testament to over 600 years of fascinating history including involvement in the Pilgrimage of Grace, Mary Queen of Scots imprisonment and a six month siege during the Civil War. As well as the new Falconry Experience, Wild Boar Park, Medieval Archery Demonstrations and Bee Keeping display, which were introduced in 2011, we now have our own flock of Wensleydale and other local rare breed sheep. We can also offer a state of the art Audio- Visual tour to give you an even greater insight into Castle life between the 14th and 17th Centuries. . Bradford on Avon Museum is a small volunteer-run museum of the heritage of the town of Bradford on Avon and the villages around it -the historic area of the Hundred of Bradford- on the western edge of the County of Wiltshire, in south-west England. The opening hours given are for November to Easter. From Easter to the end of October we will additionally be open in the mornings (10:30am - 12:30pm) Wednesday to Friday.

The Main Galleries examine the development of the area from prehistory to the twenty-first century, focusing upon the textile and manufacturing industries of Courtaulds, Warners and Crittalls, as well as displays of Castle Hedingham pottery, the work of the Great Bardfield artists and Essex straw and lace. A vibrant calendar of temporary exhibitions complements the Main Galleries throughout the year. The Museum is housed in the converted Victorian Manor Street Junior and Infant Schools that were built in 1862 and 1897 respectively. The main building is home to the Museum Reception and Shop; Temporary Exhibition Gallery; Main Galleries; Victorian Schoolroom and John Ray Gallery, and opened in 1993. The second building was converted in 2002 and contains the Cafe and the Learning for Life Centre. Braintree Museum offers a wide variety of themed activities, exhibitions and school resources throughout the year, and the characterful Museum Shop is a unique retail outlet to the town.
