Obsolete Studios is an artistic endeavor seeking to embrace the spirit of obsolescence by creating a diverse range of visual outputs. Acquired negatives and artefacts are re-interpreted, curated and re-presented in various locations alongside a series of photographic events adopting outdated techniques. We are particularly interested the process and conventions of the medium – and how this can be used to create new work within a contemporary context. A series of exhibitions and events are planned for summer 2013.

Carmel Snow is a creative emporium showcasing a wide selection of art work from contemporary to graphic artists. It also stock's vintage products from fashion accessories to hand picked vintage products sourced from auctions and vintage fairs. The ethos of the shop is to bring products that have either been handmade or hand picked giving careful consideration to the provenance behind the product, examining the idea of introducing the past into contemporary design. Products which are found, polished, displayed, treasured, bound and framed inhabit a personal narrative.
