The Lancing Herald is a newspaper covering the Lancing and Sompting areas. It is an edition of the Worthing Herald.

Lancing F.C. is a football club based in Lancing, West Sussex, England. Since forming in 1941, the club has spent a majority of its history in the Sussex County League. They have reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and the Fourth Round of the FA Vase. For the 2012–13 season, they are members of the Sussex County League Division One.HistoryThe club was formed in 1941 as Lancing Athletic. The club started in the Brighton, Hove & District Football League after the war and were champions in the 1946–47 campaign. The club then entered the Sussex County League in 1948–49, and finished runners-up the following season. They reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in 1952–53, and changed their name to their current one in 1957 following relegation to the Sussex County League Division Two.The club won the league in their inuagural season under their new name, gaining promotion back to Division One. In 1964–65, the club again finished runners-up of the Sussex County League, but in 1968 they were relegated to Division Two. They returned to Division One as champions in 1969–70, but were relegated again after two seasons. It was a decade before the club was again promoted to Division One, this time as runners-up, in 1982–83. They were relegated again in 1990, only to return in 2000 despite finishing third. Lancing only lasted one season in Division One before returning to Division Two. The club was again promoted in 2010–11 after finishing second. During the that season, they also reached the Fourth Round (last 32) of the FA Vase, but their run was ended after a defeat at Holbrook Sports. In the 2011–12 season, the club finished as runners-up of Division One.

Each class is designed with post natal Mum's in mind making the exercises safe and effect for you. You will need to have had your 6-week GP check up before joining a Buggyfit class (8-weeks if you had a c-section). Each class will start with a moderate walk moving into a power walk to help raise your heart rate. We will then do exercises that will strengthen and tone particular muscle groups and enable you to cope with the demands of motherhood. Not only is it a great way to get back to fitness, but it is also a brilliant way to meet other Mum's from the area! CLASSES: TARRING PARK, WORTHING We will meet at the Church Road entrance of the park. You can park along Church Road for free. Class Day and Times - Every Tuesday 1.30-2.30pm LANCING LEISURE CENTRE GREEN, LANCING We meet in the Leisure Centre car park right next to the green. You can park in the car park for free. Class Day and Times - Every Thursday 1.30-2.30pm Classes are £5 on a pay as you go basis OR £45 for a block of 10 classes, which means you get 1 free!! WHAT TO WEAR: Layers of clothes, as even in the coldest weather we can get very warm Hat scarf and definitely gloves (for mummy and baby) Good trainers or walking shoes Good fitting sports bra (or two!). WHAT NOT TO FORGET: Drink for mummy and baby Rain cover / sunshade Sun cream Snack for baby / toddler Toys / books for toddler.
