We aim to provide sessions BMX related to people of all ages to create interest in cycling as sport, way of transport or career. The club was created by Access Sport as part of the BMX legacy project. Founded in 2004 Access Sport is a charity whose mission is to give more children access to a wide range of quality local sport. We have the support of this dynamic charity however the club should be self sustainable with the support of volunteers. Hackney BMX Club invites riders of all ages to join us for regular sessions at the Haggerston BMX track. As part of the 'Access Sport BMX Legacy Project', Haggerston is one of five new tracks being built in the host Boroughs of the 2012 Olympics. We meet every Sunday* from 10am - 12pm for beginners sessions and 12pm to 2pm for intermediate sessions. We have bikes, helmets, gloves and protective gear available. Cost is £2 for members and £3 for non-members. Membership is £10 per year. Also available for one to one sessions, Youth clubs, School and Corporate Sessions *conditions allowing. Through developments in both design and performance. Years of experience and countless man hours in labour has led to a heritage of success.

The Kingston 'Cougars' American Football team is the official Kingston University AMF team, which competes with 80 other university teams in the British University American Football League (BUAFL) for the highest rated University American Football trophy in the UK. WE WELCOME EVERYBODY!! Regardless of Experience or Body Size!! In 2011/2012 Kingston Cougars had 5 games (3 scrimmages, 2 official fixutres) in which they succeeded against all. Official Fixtures: Kingston vs BNU = 32 - 20 Kingston vs Surrey = 31 - 0 The team has a very impressive coaching staff, with famous UK coach Phil De Monte (PDM) as the Head Coach, who has won a BUAFL championship and led his past team to back to back apperances in the finals in previous years. Furthermore, the coaches Nate Wilson (Won a Championship with London Blitz), Damian Marshall (Former Great Britain Lions Quarterback), Rob Crowther (Offensive Lineman Coach of the Year) are an incredible coaching combination, which has taught last year about 30 players, who have never played before, the game of football and how to succeed! On the roster are also professional gym trainers, who can advise on workout and nutrition plans for a fit healthy body, if one is interested. The Kingston Cougars are well known throughout the University for their dedication to the sport (training 3 times a week and seperate voluntary Gym sessions) AND their social life! The team host weekly socials with many female teams of other clubs and unis. Besides Clubbing other notable weekly socials are "All you can eat ribs", "Paintballing", "House Parties", "Madden/Fifa/CoD Tournaments" and "BBQs". - In the end thats what being a student is all about ;) Also notably the team went in April 2012 to Salou in Spain for 5 days, where they won the beach football tournament and had the party holiday of their lives (check album tour pictures). [2013 will be Croatia] Overall, THE KINGSTON AMERICAN FOOTBALL TEAM is a hardworking, successful and social team, which embrace and provide the whole experience of being a student. For the record: - The team has 7 students, who decided they will do a masters just to be able to stay with and play for the team in 2013. - 3 students are transferring from other universities to join - 4 students would have dropped out of Uni if it wasnt for the Cougars and their band of brothers. We currently run artistic gymnastics for ages 5+ and are pleased to inform you we are introducing team gym into our club. Our aim is to encourage the gymnasts into participating in a team sport where they can enhance their skills, co-ordination and techniques. We will be focusing on team gym where we can give the opportunity to increase their experience of working intensively with tumbling, trampete and floor. Team gym is a new way in presenting gymnastics and gives gymnasts the prospect of showing skills they have been taught into thrilling rhythmic performances. The sport was developed to enhance fitness and health in the participants and is accessible to anyone of any age.
